Frequently Asked Questions

What is cinematic wedding videography?
It's all about storytelling. Just like hollywood movies there is nothing more memorable than a great story. We blend cinematic shooting and editing with documentary footage to provide a viewing experience that will remain timeless. We select the most memorable captured moments from your preparations through the reception and edit them together into an engaging wedding film.

Will the videographer I’m speaking to be the one who will be shooting my wedding?
Yes, I (Jamie) will be the main videographer for each wedding except in the event of an emergency.

Who chooses the music for the videos?
You provide a list of songs, artists and movies for us to work from. We will also recommend music outside your selection if we think it fits your film.

Do you use lights?

Our cameras work well in dim light situations, however, during the reception we almost always need to add additional lighting.

Do you travel?
We will travel for all our packages; however, travel fees may apply for locations over 50 miles from Rochester.

Will a backup equipment be on-hand for the event?
Yes, we always have a backup, because you never know what might happen and we want to guarantee that you get the coverage you pay for.

How are the videographers dressed at the event?
We are usually dressed in all black. If your event is casual we will dress appropriately to blend-in with the guests.

How does the videographer coordinate with the wedding photographer?
We work very well with photographers. Before the event starts we discuss the placement of cameras to allow both of us to acquire the best footage possible.
